Trip to Cali

This is Jaxon dancing on the dance floor at the reception
Saturday morning at 8:30am, Jeremy and I decided we would fly to Cali to go to my cousin's wedding. Our plane left at 10:20am. We had to hurry. We secured a rental car, packed an overnight bag, took showers and we were on our way out the door by ten after 9. We hauled booty to the airport and parked the car in short term parking. (It's all we had time for) We ran to check in and found that miraculously, there was no line. We checked in at 9:55. We ran to security, and again, there was no line. We made it to the plane and got right on. We flew into Sandiego airport. We rented a car and drove to my cousins wedding. It was so nice to see all the family on my Dad's side. After the reception, we drove to my Grandma Bench's house and spent the night there. We visited for a bit and went to bed. We got up to check into the flight by phone at 3:00am. We left the house and drove to the Long Beach airport at 5:00am. Our flight left at 7:00. Just as we were about to board the plane, the sheriff came out and said there had been a security breech, and we all had to leave the airport to go back through security. We finally made it on the plane about an hour later.
The trip was a very fast and furious one, but we had a blast!

Spontaneous trips are often times the most fun! It was GREAT fun to see the Bergon fam wasn't it? Jax was so much fun too! He was the little entertainer for sure! I know big G&G were thrilled to see you all there as well. What a wonderful day...even if it was just a 24 trip (less than that really!)It was nice to see you BOTH away from WORK!
